Braithwaite Street, Shoreditch

Most of Braithwaite Street is under railway tracks next to Shoreditch High Street station on the London Overground. The south end of the street used to be called Wheler Street and appears as such on google maps. Photos taken September 2016.

below: Another chanel perfume bottle by endless, this time Marymee and eau de streetart. The cat playing card has some tiny words written on the bottom including, @hellothemushroom. A google search reveals this to be the work of Sara Doucette.

Blackall Street London

Back in March I found Blackall Street, a small street in London EC2 too narrow for cars but with lots of room for street art and murals.

below: By street artist Mask. This is only part of a piece that was a collaboration between Size92 and Mask. A complete picture of the mural can be seen online in London Calling blog. The project was supported by Global Street Art as part of their ongoing Walls Project.

below: Believe in Magic, or at least that’s what’s written on the paper used for this piece of street art. A page from Heavenly Recordings, illustrated by Hugh Cowling. I have no idea if this was just a scrap piece of paper that the artist had lying around, or if it has some significance.

The following pieces of graffiti and street art were found in a lane that more an entranceway to an apartment complex parking garage than an alley. I forgot to make note of where it was, except that it is somewhere in Fitzroy. There were a number of tag-like, or letter, graffiti that I didn’t photograph. Amongst those there were a few stencils and paste-ups that were interesting.
